HR GO Recruitment are working in partnership with our expanding manufacturing client in Corwen to recruit a Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor to join a growing UK manufacturing business with significant new business streams and a culture of promoting personal development and of internal progression.

Duties Include:

Deputising in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.

Supervising and motivating a small team of Warehouse Operators.

Ensuring that all activities on the site are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality, H&S and Environmental policies.

Conducting transactions on the Site's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in an accurate and timely manner, including stock receipts, stock movements, stock adjustments.

Generating output documents and relevant reports from the ERP system, including stock quantity/location reports and picking lists.

Organising and monitoring the preparation of the final product for storage and shipping, including wrapping and labelling the product for transportation.

Conducting safe loading/unloading of vehicles.

Ensuring that all loading and checking procedures are followed correctly.

Conducting cycle-counts.

Ensuring delivery of materials to production in accordance with production schedule.

Documenting and appropriately administrating any non-conformance's between physical and theoretical inventories.

Ensuring storage of hazardous materials is compliant with regulations.

Skills and Experience Required:

A Current Fork Lift Truck licence with relevant experience, experience of leading a team and of working in a manufacturing environment as well as a good standard of education are essential to be successful in this role.

A strong Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc and confidence working with Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook and Excel would be highly desirable.

A knowledge of hazardous chemical awareness (ADR) and the ability to communicate with people at all levels and from different backgrounds are desirable.
