POSITION: Warehouse Team Leader
LOCATION: Corwen
HOURS: 8am-4:30pm Monday Thursday 8:00am-3pm on Friday
SALARY: £20,000p/a

Job specification:
To ensure that all activities on the Site are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality, H&S and Environmental policies.
Support the Sites safety incident/learning reviews - act as the representative for the Warehouse & Logistics Department on the Safety Committee.
To maintain the highest levels of housekeeping throughout the site.
To liaise with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in the auditing and development of the companys Quality, H&S and Environmental policies.
Ensure that any changes which may have an impact on EHS and quality compliance are introduced via the Sites Management of Change Procedure.
Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and administrated in a manner which meets regulatory compliance and provides the transparency required during Competent Authority or Customer audits.
Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are the cornerstone of working practice.
IT Systems
Conduct transactions on the Sites Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in an accurate and timely manner. Examples of transactions include - Stock receipts, stock movements, stock adjustments.
Generate output documents and relevant reports from the ERP system. Examples are; Stock quantity/location reports, Stock picking lists.
Goods in/out
Organise and monitor the preparation of the final product for storage and shipping. This includes, wrapping the product and labelling the product for transportation.
Conduct safe loading/unloading of vehicles.
Ensure that all loading procedures, and checking procedures are followed correctly.
Stock Management
Conduct cycle-counts
Ensure delivery of materials to production in accordance with production schedule.
Document and appropriately administrate any non-conformance's between physical and theoretical inventories.
Ensure storage of hazardous materials is compliant with regulations.
Other Duties Include:
Identify cost saving opportunities.
Deputise for the Warehouse & Logistic Manager in their absence.
Remain flexible to accommodate customer requirements.
To carry out any reasonable request from the management.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Current Fork Lift Truck Driving Licence essential.
Strong Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Advanced.
Computer literate must be comfortable working with Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook and Excel.
Experience of working in the chemical industry is desirable.
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential.
Good knowledge of hazardous chemical awareness (ADR)
Attention to detail
An ability to communicate with people at all levels and from different backgrounds.
A-C grade GCSE or equivalent in both Mathematics and English is essential.
A-level or equivalent standard of education is desirable
Experience of leading a team essential
