POSITION: Warehouse/Yard Supervisor LOCATION: Rhyl HOURS: Tuesday to Saturday 3am - 12pm SALARY: £19,500p/a upto £23,000p/a REF: VR/00809 HR GO Recruitment are currently looking for a Warehouse/Yard Supervisor for our client based in Rhyl. Due to the growth of their business, they have an exciting opportunity in the Operations department for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. Job Purpose: To ensure the smooth and efficient operational activities of the Warehouse in order to meet and exceed customer expectations. To ensure the control of warehouse activities and the allocation of workload to relevant employees in line with require. Main duties: * To allocate work to all employees that jobholder has responsibility for, in a fair manner, whilst ensuring meeting of operational requirements. * To ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all operational targets and key performance indicators. Weekly reviews with management. * To carry out all relevant activities safely and securely, whilst observing company policy's & procedures. * To maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the Warehouse (Bulk Shed), including the yard, check all equipment is safe and in good order for operation including FLT daily checks and report any findings to the Night Shift Manager * All bulk vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently, any under/over utilisation is reported to the transport office * To check and investigate missing/miss routed freight prior to drivers leaving site. * Continuously review working practices and promote improvements within the operation. * Responsible for maintaining and complying with Company Health and Safety standards, thereby minimising the risk to themselves and other persons.
