A new opportunity is now available for a highly successful and worldwide manufacturer of a leading product and service with their products being sold in over 100 countries. The role involves: * To pick orders for the Factory in an accurate and timely fashion * Picking and packing of Fax Requests for both production and distribution * Off-loading and storing and recording of Goods In Raw materials within the Raw Materials warehouse * Making sure warehouse is clean and tidy and safe at all times * Follow Company H&S practices and procedures * Good Timekeeping ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1 Health & Safety - Comply with H&S at work act, Promote good practice to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. 2 Ensuring safe practice regarding use of equipment 3 Receive, store, maintain in good order and issue of items from both the Raw Materials 4 Making sure the goods are received, receipted, located, stored in the correct areas 5 Accurate recording of all materials 6 Work with Team Leaders to co-ordinate deliveries, plan work load and inventory flow through all Warehouse functions. 7 Be able to work in a team environment whilst being able to self-motivate and when necessary cover for Team Leaders if absent. 8 Participate in any continuous improvement initiatives. 9 Support the Team Leaders and Warehouse Manager through feedback on work levels and inventory issues on a regular basis. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Good working knowledge of Warehouse procedures and environment. * MHE Licences, Reach and counter balance.(or competence to achieve this). * Good Communication Skills * Planning/Organization * Working with others as part of a team and self motivated to work as an individual * Problem solving * Proactive and Service Driven * Continuous improvement/change orientation * FLT licence * Inventory management - stock count / stock rotation. * Good communication skills both written and verbal.
