Job Specification POSITION: Warehouse Order Picker LOCATION: Flint HOURS: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday - Friday SALARY: £18,000p/a + REF: VR/00709 Our client is looking or 2 x additional members in their busy warehouse on a permanent basis to assist with order picking and packing. Job specification: * Support the warehouse supervisor in the day to day running of the warehouse operation * Accurately pick/ pack and label customer orders * Produce customer shipments and courier labels on system * Check and store all goods in deliveries, advise discrepancies * Help with regular cycle stock taking * Ensure clear identification of stock with all relevant coding * Successfully liaise with all other departments * Proactively support colleagues as dictated by changing workload demands Support and (during holidays) deputise for * Provide a positive and professional image to internal and external visitors * Liaise effectively with freight companies and external storage providers Share company H&S procedures with external workers in the warehouse, e.g. * Report any H&S issues to the warehouse supervisor advise damaged, out of date stock to warehouse supervisor * Liaise with suppliers/colleagues on faulty products from supplier deliveries or customer returns * Supervise contract packers and warehouse temps as required, checking their work for accuracy * Utilise all learning resources available e.g. Citation on-line training courses * Maintain good working knowledge of systems and continuing update * Maintain a tidy, clean warehouse and safe working environment * Testing of imported products and communication of any faults testing of returned customer product * Comply with company's policies and procedures support management with improvements Person Specification: * Good verbal communication skills * Computer literate with accurate data entry * Team player, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision * Customer / client focused * FLT licence desirable Please contact Nicola at HR GO recruitment for more information on 0151 3474900 or email your CV to nicola@hrgoliverpool.co.uk
