HRGO are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for a company situated just outside of Dover. Working in the busy Distribution Centre (DC) the role is warehouse based and requires a positive working attitude. Due to the nature of the role, experience of an industrial, warehousing or distribution environment is desirable. We require a good level of written and spoken English and a great work ethic due to the demanding nature of the job. The role will involve operating forklifts (training will be provided), picking stock from order sheets, general warehouse duties, housekeeping and following the strict health and safety procedures of the company. You will need to communicate any issues with products or deliveries to the shift leader or manager. The role is a demanding job that requires standing or moving in weather conditions but has great rewards for the right candidate. This post would suit someone who is flexible, has a basic understanding of health and safety and the willingness to learn and develop in an exciting industry. Benefits include: * Long service holiday awards after 2 full calendar years. * Free parking. Salary: £7.83 for 3 months' probation and then rise up to £8.20 (per annum after the approbation £23,897). Hours of work: Mon to Fri, 05:45 am - 18:00 pm, to begin with, changing to rotating shifts, 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off after training. Working hours: 56.25 per week. Saturday as overtime: £1.25 extra.
