Warehouse Operative

Elsenham (near Stansted Airport)

Salary - £11.55p/h + 5% shift allowance

Stansted area

Shift Pattern on a rolling 4 week rota

(6am-2.30pm/1.30pm to 10pm/8.30am to 5pm)

We are currently recruiting for a competent warehouse team member to work with a client on an existing busy warehouse team, involving various warehouse duties, picking and putting away stock, returning stock to warehouse, inventory counts, yard duties, supporting production transition area, decanting of bottles, caps, pumps and components, carry out daily recycling duties, assisting with waste from the factory. Liaising with Warehouse manager and supervisor.

Duties includes:

• Load / Unload Vehicles

• Receive goods into warehouse

• Operate counter balance / reach / pallet trucks

• Supporting transition areas, decanting components, moving stock to production areas

• Stacking finished boxes onto pallets

• Complete daily safety check sheets at start of shift

• Wrap pallets and apply label if applicable

• All recycling / Waste management to be carried out in a timely manner

• Hygiene duties to be carried out as per hygiene schedule (policy)

• Carry out company health and safety standards at all times

• Carry out adhoc warehouse duties if required

Skills Required:

• Counter balance truck handling

• Reach truck - Not essential, training TBA

• Powered / Manual pallet truck handling

• Manual handling skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Numerical accuracy essential

• A willing team member

• General understanding of health and safety
