Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader? We have an exciting opportunity to offer an experienced and self-motivated Warehouse Lead to join an established, international engineering company.

As a Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for the implementation of the warehouse processes, whilst looking at continuous improvement in efficiency and minimising waste. You along with your team will run the goods inwards and stores.

Main tasks:

• You will be responsible for the accuracy of stock, the perpetual stock count process and the organisation of parts and deliveries to the shop floor and spares.
• Organise picking in line with the scheduled machine builds
• Process pick lists and pick as required
• Attend production meetings weekly for prioritisation of goods
• Improvements in picking lists in conjunction with production and planning
• Collation of Spares Orders
• Liaise with Quality Control to ensure accuracy and quality of stock
• Feedback to procurement on potential improvements to processing incoming goods

Experience/Skills:

• Previous leadership experience and in a similar engineering / manufacturing / industrial environment would be advantageous
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering company would be an advantage
• Previous use of SAP is desired
• Well organised
• Good communicator
• Can do attitude
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Customer focused

Salary: £25,000 pa, attractive benefits, with free on-site car parking
