Varied and interesting role unpacking a repacking cargo loads for transportation. You should have some experience of counterbalance forklift, (training given), and be able to work on a shift basis. Duties: * Checking loads against paperwork and identifying any queries for investigation. * Complete check of fork lift and other equipment at the start of each shift and report and any damage * Scrutiny and acceptance of delivery documentation to ensure compliance with CAA, HM CUSTOM & Excise * Ensuring cargo is stored in appropriate storage area * Complete security screening of the cargo including checking weight and/or volume meets export consignments * Checking for any damage to the cargo * Ensuring ULDS/ Bulk loads are offered to collection parties in a timely manner * Ensuring all paper work is completed when cargo is presented to customer * Breakdown relevant units,store cargo and record location. Breakdown to house airway bill level if required Requirements * Flexible to do shifts days and night ( 5 on off or 4 on 5 off) * 5 yrs reference history * FORKLIFT experience essential. * Must have own transport due to location of job. * Clean criminal record Pay rate: 10 p/h Benefits: View to go permanent after successfully completing probation.
