Vehicle Technician/Fitter
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician / Fitter looking for a new and exciting challenge?
Permanent position - working Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 2pm (NO WEEKENDS!) in Walsall - Salary £25,500 - £28,641 (dependant on experience)
Our client is looking for a Vehicle Technician/Fitter to join their team in a state-of-the-art workshop, where you will be responsible for the conversion and integration of vehicles to new specifications. Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- You must have previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician/Fitter within the automotive industry along with a relevant technical qualification NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA (minimum Level 2)
- Remove and replace vehicle exterior panels
- Replacing mechanical components e.g. suspension/brakes
- Removing and replacing OEM vehicle wiring harnesses
A full DBS check will be carried out, so it is vital that you have a clean criminal record.
