Vehicle Fitter

Salary: £25,500-£28,641

Location - Walsall, West Midlands

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 9 - 5pm & Friday 8am - 2pm NO WEEKENDS

Are you an experienced Vehicle Fitter looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Our client who are one of the largest providers of support services to the emergency services sector manage vehicles and equipment on behalf of organisations such as London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police Service, and the Highways Agency. As a Vehicle Fitters, you'll play a vital role in keeping their vehicles on the road and in great working order. We are looking for a talented and efficient Vehicle Fitter to work within a very successful company who rewards hard work and dedication and offers you the opportunity to further your skills.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Fitters / Technicians who hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 in this field

You will be responsible for the stripping and fitting of a wide range of vehicles, from executive to light commercial.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Removing and replacing vehicle exterior panels
* Cataloguing components so that they can be effectively reassembled
* Replacing mechanical components E.g., Suspension / brakes
* Removing and replacing OEM vehicle wiring harnesses.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Ideally served a recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Technician /Motor Mechanic and gained a technical qualification such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA
