This position is offered on a fulltime basis, based in Canterbury, with a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience. If this sounds like you, the Kent MS Therapy Centre is looking for a passionate Trusts and Business Partnerships Manager to play an important role in our highly-motivated fundraising team. Your work will ensure that we can provide excellent therapies and support to people living with MS at our purpose-built Centre. Alongside the important task of raising funds, you'll get to work with the dedicated and sociable community of members and volunteers that makes our Centre a distinctive and positive experience for everyone involved. You will have a minimum of three years' experience of charity fundraising, focusing on corporates and Trusts and other grant agencies, with recent demonstrable experience of successfully applying for five and six figure grants from foundations, along with the development of new corporate partnerships to develop our income streams. Person Specification This role would suit someone with at least three years' experience in the charity sector, ideally in both areas of expertise with proven income generation skills. You will be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to hit the ground running in order to generate income for the charity. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle a diverse workload and they must have experience of cultivating new relationships at the highest levels, as well as managing existing donors and clients. You will have a proven track record of generating income through high quality applications and excellent account management skills. This will include writing timely reports and applications, networking, cultivation and stewardship skills. You will also have the ability to quickly form relationships with internal and external partners as a representative of the organisation.
