Transport Supervisor

We are looking for a Transport Operations Supervisor to support the Transport Manager in the provision of high quality, cost-effective transportation service which consistently delivers within company SLAs, and balances the needs of colleagues within operations.

Transport Supervisor Responsibilities:

* Conduct Driving License checks
* Be a key player in dispute resolution within the Cowley team and with 3rd party organisations.
* Overseeing the day to day vehicle operation including driver no shows, breakdowns, traffic delays, accidents or any other area that may affect the smooth and timely operation of deliveries.
* Engage all external and internal customers to provide the best quality of service to our customers.
* Ensure all relevant documentation and paperwork is created, received and completed, and where required inputted promptly and accurately
* Produce reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Creating and coding invoices
* Managing all areas of our vehicle fleet, including maintenance, repair, vehicle hire and de-hire.
* Managing the UTS - Cowley Operator's Licence, including vehicle and driver compliance

Transport Supervisor Requirements:

* Confident in managing difficult situations
* Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel) ability to use in-house systems with ease.
* Good level of financial understanding
* Enthusiastic, energetic and positive personality, working well as part of a small team
* An ability to work to deadlines
* Organised with an ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities
* Professional and dedicated approach to work.
* An Understanding of driving legislation including operators licensing and WTD

Salary: £32,000 per annum
