We are looking for a Trainee Sales Person for a client based in the Dover area. The Trainee Sales Person will primarily assist the senior management in providing quotations and support to clients. Product training will be provided along with sales training. As part of this, there will be a requirement to work in the physical test laboratory. Customer relations are crucial to our business meaning a positive, gregarious attitude is required. This must be combined with an ability to learn about the industry and our systems. The post will be supervised by the senior management team. It requires both inquisitiveness and the ability to carry out repetitive work very accurately. The role is 90% office based but UK and international travel will be required. It is essential to have a scientific or engineering eduction. Key Responsibilities * Sales support work under guidance * Accurate preparation of quotes. * Development of customer relations (telephone, email, in person) * Maintenance of records of work * Attendance to trade shows * Liaison with entire team * Communicate with confidence to colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority. * Support development of the company in new areas of expertise, geography and markets colleagues and clients * Maintaining communications with clients in collaboration with colleagues, working to the highest scientific and grammatical standards * Maintain meticulous records * Understand and implement company quality systems and procedures * Comply with safety requirements * Follow Standard Operating procedures and suggest ways to improve processes and procedures This is a permanent role, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
