Trainee Research Technician HR GO are currently representing a large global firm in their quest for a trainee research technician. This firm are highly reputable and are now diversifying into wider markets where they feel an expansion of their staff is necessary. As a trainee research technician, you will be providing general laboratory and admin support to the research team as well as contributing to a safe working environment. Main duties: * Ensuring sufficient stocks of laboratory chemicals and consumables * Preparing samples of model formulations and arranging dispatch according to customer requests * Supporting the preparation of technology certificates * Providing basic lab support for the Research team projects * Ensuring lab surfaces are kept clean and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed The person: * Preferably A-level Science or higher * Experience in the safe handling of chemicals is essential * Familiar in a lab environment * Experience in weighing materials * Can do attitude * Team player If you are interested or would like further information please contact Luci at Luci.lambroumackay@hrgo.co.uk or call the branch on 01233 634242
