Job Title: Toolmaker or Tooling Manager experience (let us know your preferred skillset )

Our client a long established, busy and successful Medical Device manufacturing with a busy Injection Moulding, Mould making and Product Development company is recruiting an additional toolmaker to join their team, responsible for the manufacture of new injection mould tools as well as modifying and servicing existing injection mould tools on-site.

You would need to be an experienced Toolmaker, having recently worked within the injection mould making industry, has a proven track record and all-round machining skills for working in a flexible toolroom environment. Ideally with an timed served background in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting drawings and CAD data

Planning and organising work to meet schedules
Communicate with mould shop setters & supervisors

Liaise with the Technical Department with regards to new designs.
Ability to operate computers (CAD and CAM software)

Fit together all moulds, jigs and fixtures for production

Work on CNC mills, lathes, drills, grinders and spark eroders

To draw 2D drawings on computers / To work out cutters and tool paths for making 3D models

36 day hours a week equating to £15/16 ph for 36 hour week
