Temporary Vehicle Cleaner/Driver - Norwich
C1 Vehicle Cleaner/Basic Vehicle Maintenance "Make Ready Driver", Norwich
We are looking for a Driver with a C1 Licence to carry out daily vehicle inspections on the fleet of Trust vehicles and able to work shift patterns including nights and weekends.
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Contract: On-going (End Date Unknown)
Rate of Pay: £10.25 - £11.75 per hour (37.5 hours a week)
This will include:
- Cleaning/decontamination of inside and outside of ambulances
- Safe collection and delivery of Trust vehicles
- Report any defects prior to handing vehicle over
- Undertake extended road tests after vehicle repair
- Check levels of fuel, AdBlue, screen wash, tyres
- Basic vehicle repairs (e.g. light bulbs, wiper blades, etc)
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Full UK Driving Licence including C1 (max. 3 points)
- Previous fleet/vehicle sector experience is desirable
- Significant car/van driving experience essential
- Good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance, operations and inspections
- Able to work shifts including twilight hours, nights and weekends
