Temporary Vehicle Cleaner/Driver - Norwich

C1 Vehicle Cleaner/Basic Vehicle Maintenance "Make Ready Driver", Norwich

We are looking for a Driver with a C1 Licence to carry out daily vehicle inspections on the fleet of Trust vehicles and able to work shift patterns including nights and weekends.

Start Date: ASAP

Length of Contract: On-going (End Date Unknown)

Rate of Pay: £10.25 - £11.75 per hour (37.5 hours a week)

This will include:

  • Cleaning/decontamination of inside and outside of ambulances
  • Safe collection and delivery of Trust vehicles
  • Report any defects prior to handing vehicle over
  • Undertake extended road tests after vehicle repair
  • Check levels of fuel, AdBlue, screen wash, tyres
  • Basic vehicle repairs (e.g. light bulbs, wiper blades, etc)

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Full UK Driving Licence including C1 (max. 3 points)
  • Previous fleet/vehicle sector experience is desirable
  • Significant car/van driving experience essential
  • Good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance, operations and inspections
  • Able to work shifts including twilight hours, nights and weekends
