HRGO Recruitment are recruitment for a Technical Delivery Manager. This role is responsible for the delivery of projects for a growing technology provider based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

The Technical Delivery Manager will work primarily with the Service Delivery Manager and Account Managers to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions on-time, to scope and within budget. You will build a reputation for consistent and high quality project delivery and provide accurate reporting of project progress, risks and outcomes.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in the IT industry, and considerable experience in a similar role. Interpersonal skills are very important to us and you must be able to communicate clearly, articulately and confidently to all project stakeholders and participants. Reporting is key and you will actively provide regular progress reports and be a diligent record keeper.

Technical Experience:

This role requires someone from a strong technical background. You may have started your career on a Service Desk and progressed through to a 3rd line level before moving into delivery and management in more recent years. A demonstrable and current knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, communications, connectivity and security is necessary to be successful in this role.

Skills required:

  • Experience gathering and presenting detailed information.
  • Comfortable adjusting language and detail to suit the audience, whether it is verbal or written.
  • Effective and timely decision making.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Management of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Adaptable to change in processes and confident leading the change where required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experienced at effectively developing a wide variety of stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good self-awareness, with the ability to analyse successes and failures and determine areas for improvement.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with a difficult situations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress to delivery.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Successfully manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Adhere to all IT related policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all relevant data protection, financial, taxation and legal requirements.
