Maternity cover Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 5pm £8.70 per hour Established wholesale distributor looking for a Technical Assistant. This role is to cover a period of maternity leave but could develop into a full time role dependent on the future needs of the business. Job Specifics * Working closely with the Technical Team to ensure the highest standards of product safety, quality and legality are maintained at all times. * Conducting internal audits and be on hand to assist with external audits as required. * Monitoring and management of plant environmental standards. * Handle any customer complaints as / when they arise. * Responsibility for supplier approval and maintaining our Organic Trading Schedule. * Conduct staff training to food safety and Health & Safety procedures. * Assist in regular administration duties.
