HR GO Ashford are currently recruiting for a Temporary Technical Administrator for a prestigious organisation based in Ashford. This position is based in a busy planning department where attention to detail is key. Your main focus will be on providing a comprehensive admin support on behalf for the planning team as well as providing technical support when necessary. This role is an opportunity to get your foot in the door of a good local employer, with the added possibility for further permanent employment.
Main duties:
Provide excellent levels of customer service to all internal and external customers, ensuring that all customer service targets are met
Monitor performance and assist the Team Leader in the implementation of new processes
Maintain and update all records, both physical copies and computer based
Act as the first point of contact for enquiries (Planning and Development) and making sure they are dealt with as efficiently as possible
Liaise with external parties regarding Planning and Development issues
Create the necessary documents for the relevant departments in line with the current guidelines and legislation
The Candidate:
Experience of working in a similar Administration role is essential
Previous experience of working with Administrative processes is also required
An understanding of Planning and Development would be ideal, however not essential
Intermediate IT skills (esp. Excel, Word and Outlook)
Used to working under pressure when necessary
Have a can-do attitude
Please note: This this a temporary position for 3 months initially
The hours of work are 22.2 hours per week, minimum 3 days per week, but open to flexibility with hours over the week
