HR GO Ashford are currently recruiting for a Temporary Technical Administrator for a prestigious organisation based in Ashford. This position is based in a busy planning department where attention to detail is key. Your main focus will be on providing a comprehensive admin support on behalf for the planning team as well as providing technical support when necessary. This role is an opportunity to get your foot in the door of a good local employer, with the added possibility for further permanent employment. Main duties: * Provide excellent levels of customer service to all internal and external customers, ensuring that all customer service targets are met * Monitor performance and assist the Team Leader in the implementation of new processes * Maintain and update all records, both physical copies and computer based * Act as the first point of contact for enquiries (Planning and Development) and making sure they are dealt with as efficiently as possible * Liaise with external parties regarding Planning and Development issues * Create the necessary documents for the relevant departments in line with the current guidelines and legislation The Candidate: * Experience of working in a similar Administration role is essential * Previous experience of working with Administrative processes is also required * An understanding of Planning and Development would be ideal, however not essential * Intermediate IT skills (esp. Excel, Word and Outlook) * Used to working under pressure when necessary * Have a can-do attitude Salary and Benefits * The pay rate is £10.34 per hour * Free parking on site Please note: This this a temporary position for 6 weeks initially, however it does have the potential to be extended until Feb 2020 for the right person. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
