HR GO are looking to recruit a Team Leader for their prestigious client based in the Glasgow area.
The objective of this role is to lead a finishing team to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ownership and accountability of line leadership
Follow company procedures and processes
Manage team in line with procedures and processes
Achieve daily planned target outputs
Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels
Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock within company systems
Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, good housekeeping
Good communication with regular briefs to team
Building team effectiveness throughout the production, technical, quality and logistics teams
Understand improvement techniques
Actively involved in projects, plan, organise, arrange all that is needed to make it happen in operations
Maintain good facilities in the department, monitor ergonomics working environments for staff
Carry out any other duties as requested by Manager

This is a permanent role and pays between £22,000 and £24,000 per annum.
