HR GO Education is working with an ASD school in Broadstairs. This position is Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30. Do you have some experience as an experience of either SEND or care to join their passionate and professional team as an LSA?

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for the position of a full-time role position long-term? Some of your duties and responsibilities will include.

• Working with individuals and groups of students, ensuring students are kept on task and complete activities set by the teacher.
• Dealing with behavioural and special needs issues in conjunction with the teacher.
• Helping with students with personal care.
• Helping non-verbal students.
• Taking a small group of students for defined activities
• Working with challenging students away from the classroom as a respite strategy.
• Supervise students at breaks and lunchtimes.
• Take part in a Training day

Essential skills will include.

• Ability to work with challenging students, understand their needs, and demonstrate effective behaviour management strategies as and when required.
• Experience with children with Special Education needs language difficulties or other complex needs or as a career.
• Determination to raise the levels of achievement of children.
• Ability to cope with emotionally demanding situations.
