What makes the perfect Teaching Assistant? Someone who has strong numeracy and literacy skills that is able to effectively work alongside the classroom teacher in supporting the pupils in their development - being able to do intervention work with students in a group or on a 1:1 basis! Prior experience in a similar role is also key!

A dedicated and reliable individual will stand out in their ability to demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.

It is also desirable that the candidate hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant.

Requirements for the Role:

• Ability to create great relationships with both pupils and staff
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Great organisational skills
• Prior experience working in a school environment in a similar role.
• An Enhanced DBS (this can be obtained through HR Go)
• Able to commit Monday - Friday.
• Someone who is reliable, dedicated, and passionate about education!
• Desirable to hold a level 2 or level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant.
