HR Go Education are currently looking for a long-term supply Teaching Assistant based at a SEND school in Greenwich.

Do you have what it takes to make a fantastic Teaching Assistant? Are you dedicated to the role through your prior experiences and what to continue to make a different to the lives of students by being a constant for them both academically and emotionally?

The ideal individual for the position will be someone with strong numeracy and literacy skills; who can clearly demonstrate these skills in group or 1:1 interventions with the pupils. You will be able to effectively monitor progression of the pupils and report back to staff and parents. You will also have a great understanding of additional needs and be able to support the students in the classroom and around the school.

Prior experience is key!

You will have the chance to work with a fantastic group of students, supporting them through their academic year of school alongside a dedicated group of staff who strive for the highest of standards.

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is also highly desirable!

Requirements for the Role:

• Ability to create great relationships with both pupils and staff
• Have experience working with adults or children with SEND.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Great organisational skills.
• Prior experience working in a school environment in a similar role.
• An Enhanced DBS (this can be obtained through HR Go)
• Able to commit Monday - Friday.
• Someone who is reliable, dedicated, and passionate about education!
• Desirable to hold a level 2 or level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant.
