HR Go Education are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic long-term supply Teaching Assistant based in Thanet.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a classroom setting within a similar role and be able to demonstrate excellent classroom management. There are many desirable qualities that makes a great Teaching Assistant but someone who is compassionate, dedicated, patient and above all hard-working is a must!

It is crucial that the Teaching Assistant we are seeking has great numeracy and literacy skills and is prepared to assist the classroom teacher in supporting the classes development - offering 1:1 and group support. They will need to be able to create effective and meaningful relationships with pupils and staff! It is also important therefore that a good Teaching Assistant is able to provide effective feedback to pupils, classroom teachers and parents.

It is desirable that the candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant.

Requirements for the Role:

• Ability to create great relationships with both pupils and staff
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Great organisational skills
• Prior experience working in a school environment in a similar role.
• An Enhanced DBS (this can be obtained through HR Go)
• Able to commit Monday - Friday.
• Someone who is reliable, dedicated, and passionate about education!
• Desirable to hold a level 2 or level 3 qualification as a Teaching Assistant.
