HR GO Education is working with special education needs school, based in Broadstairs. This position is Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30 long-term temp, for in the hopes of going permanent.

Do you have experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Carer, or looking after your children?

We're looking for someone to fill our Learning Support Assistant role who may have loads of experience or very little experience. You must be able to attend a Tour of the school, training, and trial day at the school on 3 different occasions. This will allow you to have a chance to experience the school and get a feel for what your everyday responsibilities will be.

People who are suitable for this role must be able to:

• Be confident and committed to this role
• Provide 1-1 & working in small groups
• Understand how to safeguard children
• Able to undertake training and trial day at the school
• Dealing with behavioural and special needs issues in conjunction with the teacher.
• Helping students with personal care.
• Helping non-verbal students.
• Working with challenging students away from the classroom as a respite strategy.
• Supervise students at breaks and lunchtimes.
