Support Worker Cheadle Permanent We are looking to grow are team within our residential complex where we give young people/adults the opportunity to live as independently as possible and attend our state-of-the-art school/college. We are looking to speak to people weather you have years of experience or are just looking to get into support work we will welcome applications from everyone all we require as a minimum requirement of Maths and English. Experience working in a care setting supporting children/people with complex learning disabilities and communication, behavioural and sensory impairments or in a mental health setting is preferred but not essential. Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or similar) is preferred but not essential - successful applicants who are not qualified will be required to commit to completing the qualification supported by our client. We provide an environment that is safeguarded and as part of our safer recruitment policy, successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check (no cost) and full references will be taken. * We are recruiting for talented Residential Support Workers for our young adults' homes (age range 19-25 years old) * These active roles will involve providing daily care and support for our young people including personal care needs, mobility, daily routine support, communication, independent living skills, learning and leisure activities * These roles will work in our fantastic, state of the art 2- and 4-bedroom homes supporting our young adults at our single site in Cheadle Hulme near Manchester airport Some challenging behaviours may present, so candidates should be comfortable working in this type of environment * These are full time permanent roles for Residential Support/Care Workers The Hours * Flexibility over 7 days is required (37.5 hours per week) * The roles operate on a rotating shift pattern * The roles will work every other weekend * We also have part time hours available Salary £17,822 - £19,164 + benefits + overtime Holidays Year 1 is 33 days, rising to 38 after 5 years
