HRGO are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to support a gentleman in his own home. Our client supports this gentleman 24 hours per day on a 1-2-1 basis and are looking to expand the team! They are one of the UKs leading learning disability organisations who pride themselves in person centred care and are always promoting choice and Independence. For this role, ideally you will have some experience supporting service users with Learning & Physical disabilities, and will be flexible in the hours you can work. Duties Include: Personal Care Meal Prep Assisting with activities Food shopping Care plan writing / documentation Training You will need to hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care, or hold a care certificate. We can assist you with training and DBS, however having the relevant qualifications will speed up your application! Our client's service user uses a wheelchair at all times and requires support with all aspects of daily living. Due to the nature of the role, a Full UK Driving Licence would be desirable, so that you are able to drive the service user to activities / shopping etc, and an enhanced DBS.
