My client is a long established market leader in the insurance sector with a vast array of clients and national coverage. Due to increasing workloads and long term opportunity, they are looking to add to their teams across the business.
As a Subsidence Field Surveyor you will be responsible for the production of the specification of repairs and ongoing technical direction throughout the life of the repair. To drive repairs to completion. Be a focal point for the subsidence team in relation to the technical aspects of the repair to enable them to manage their caseload of Subsidence files.
Key Accountabilities:
- Reduction in the average elapsed time from contractor assignment to completion of works.
- Production of the specification of repairs and seeing the repair to completion.
- To ensure a clear thought process and justification is clearly provided for all repair aspects in a file note.
- To ensure client philosophies and policy wordings are adhered to.
- To return callbacks within 1 working day
- To support the ongoing development of the Repair Claim Managers including the provision of workshops
- To actively encourage verbal communications at all times and provide feedback (good and bad verbally to claim managers) - Reporting repeat areas of concern to the Operations Manager
- To actively build relations verbally with our existing suppliers and clients - reporting repeat areas of concern to the Product Leader.
- Making accurate and timely decisions within set SLAs and to achieve the optimum balance of cost, time and customer satisfaction, including handling variation requests and contractor queries.
- To be able to draw up a clear and accurate repair specification
- We expect proactivity demonstrable with outbound calls made in line with the rest of the subsidence specialists.
- To take ownership for and manage all technical aspects of the subsidence repair phase process.
- To take the final decision on the accuracy of all schedules of repair and develop the project, working closely with the subsidence team
- To take ownership of the management of the technical elements of the repair process
- To motivate and help develop the team and lead by example.
This role is field based and therefore a company car is provided.
