My client is responsible for the street cleanliness within the Burnham-on-Sea area. They're looking for an experienced cleaner to join the team to maintain street cleanliness on a full-time basis.

About the job:

In this street cleaning role, you'll play a pivotal part in the day-to-day street cleanliness within and around Burnham-on-Sea.

Duties include empyting street litter bins and litter-picking (utensils and PPE provided) to maintain a clean and safe environment for the public throughout Burnham-on-Sea including Apex Park and the seafront. Assistance in and around Bridgwater will also be required during busy period and following key events.

Occasional driving of a company vehicle may be required to drive between popular sites therefore a clean driving licence would be an advantage.

Hours of work:

Full-time hours of work are 9.30am-6.30pm during summer months and 7am-4pm during winter.

5 days per week to include weekends with 2 days off during the week.

What skills and experience should you have?

With at least one year's experience working as a cleaner, you'll have:

- Great time-management

- Be physically fit and strong for walking and manual handling duties

- Excellent organisational skills

- Initiative and a positive can-do attitude

- Polite and friendly manner

- Pride in your work
