Stock Controller - Maldon, Essex. HRGO Recruitment are looking to fill a vacancy for a Stock Controller on behalf of their client based in Heybridge, Maldon. This role is to support the smooth operation of the buying function using established systems and resources. Some of the major tasks involved in this role are as follows: * Management of stock layout on the warehouse floor. * Responsible for ensuring returned goods are dealt with correctly on a daily basis. * Ensure that correct stock rotation is being adhered to. * Manage stock at sufficient levels for the company to operate the day to day business. * Responsible for updating new products, managing and updating existing products and discontinued products. * Carry out and plan stock takes and stock checks on a continuous basis. * Other administration duties as requested. The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes: * Previous experience as a Stock Controller is essential. * Self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines and operate within a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate on a variety of levels. * Possess excellent IT Skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel) * Previous experience in working with a WMS. * Strong numerical skills and attention to detail in assigned tasks. * The ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative. The working hours are 8.30m to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This position is temporary to permanent with an immediate start.
