Sheet Metal Worker Immediate start available. Offering an excellent stable temp to perm position Competitive Rate with time and half overtime rate and with good hours available Location: St. Neots - Sandy area Long established traditional Engineering Company requires a Sheet Metal Worker to set and operate various machinery, especially with experience of metal folding. Significant experience of working within a Sheet Metal manufacturing environment is essential and candidates must be able to read, understand and be able to work from drawings. Duties to include: * Set, Program and Operate a CNC Machinery, such as CNC Mitsubishi laser / CNC folder Amada Octo's (ideally programming required and experience CNC CAD and auto nesting would be an advantage. Training will be given if the candidate only Laser experience or folding. * Set and Operate Press Brake, Punch machine, Guillotine and Piercing, machines * Bend and shape cut out sections and to finish sheet metal products, to ensure quality and productivity are maintained. * Any fine limit MIG and TIG Welding experience would be an advantage. * Read, understand and work from drawings. * Operate hand tools. * Responsible for personal quality control and make adjustments as necessary. * Clean and maintain work area and equipment * Operate within safety guidelines and any operating procedures. * Complete necessary paper work. Hours: Monday - Friday, working a 39-hour week with a 12.00 mid-day finish on a Friday.Location: St. Neots area. Applicants will need to have their own transport due the company's rural location.
