Sheet Metal Worker

Permanent position - Immediate start available

Salary to £30,420 pa & Overtime at time & a half (£15.00 p/hr, Overtime at £22.50 p/hr)

Good hours available - Mid-day finish on a Friday

Location in the Huntingdon - Cambourne - St. Neots area

Own transport required due to location

Established leader in processing equipment and solutions for the food processing / manufacturing industry requires a skilled Sheet Metal Worker and Fabrication Engineer who can work to high quality standards, promptly ensuring production schedules are met.

You must be able to work within a team and be aware of all aspects including Health & Safety, Production, Inspection and Discipline.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Experience in programming / setting / operating an Amada HFE brake press or any other CNC brake presses.

• Experience in CNC punch press would be an advantage.

• Experience in manual break-press machinery.

• Experience in using a guillotine would be an advantage.

• Candidates need to be able to read and have a good understanding of engineering drawings.

• Be proficient with the use of various hand tools and mechanical equipment for sheet metal.

• An interest in programming / operating a laser - Full training to be provided.

Rate Guide: To £30,420 pa (to £15.00 p/hr), & Overtime at time & a half - Good hours available

Commutable from: Royston - Biggleswade - St. Neots - Sandy - Cambourne - Cambridge - Bedford - St. Ives - Huntingdon - Letchworth Garden City areas.

Applicants will need to have their own transport due the company's rural location.　

Hours: Working a 39 per week, Mid-day finish on a Friday.

• Monday 7.30 am - 4.00 pm
• Tuesday 7.30 am - 4.30 pm
• Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 5.00 pm
• Friday 7.30 am - 12.00 noon
