Sheet Metal Worker

Rate up to £12.00 per hour - Equiv. to £24,336 pa

Overtime paid at time and half with good hours available　

Location: St. Neots - Sandy area, own transport required due the company's location

Established specialised precision engineering company requires a Sheet Metal Worker to join their skilled work force.

We are particularly interested in candidates that have a more bias towards CNC folding on Amada machines (or similar machines).

It is essential for candidates to have significant experience of working within a Sheet Metal manufacturing environment and be able to read, understand and be able to work from drawings.　　

Candidates should be aware of self-inspection and quality procedures as well as general engineering good practice.

Typical Sheet Metal Worker duties to include:

• CNC folder Amada Octo's (ideally programming required and experience CNC CAD and auto nesting would be an advantage)
• Bend, shape and cut out sections to finish sheet metal products; to ensure quality and productivity are maintained.
• Any Setting and Operating of a CNC (Mitsubishi) Laser - desirable

Hours: Monday - Friday, working a 39-hour week with a 12.00 mid-day finish on a Friday.

Location: St. Neots, Sandy area.　

Starting Rate to £12.00 per hour, Overtime at time and a half - Good hours available　

Stable Temp to perm position.
