We are currently seeking an experienced Settlement Clerk with fluent Mandarin / English speaker for this amazing bank.

This role will be based within its banking team - process the payment / clearing enquires GBP, USD and CNY etc.

Cover the trade services operation functions which include dealing with all the import and export settlement business and other tasks as directed by the line manager.

Process not only internal payments but also process GBP, USD, CNY etc. cleaning through our head office and other correspondents.

Mandarin is essential for this role, with a min of 2 years within a similar role.

• Process internal payments and invoices

• Monitor account movement

• Monitor large exposure to manager, Treasury and Risk ALM

• Process Nostro accounts

• Pass journal entries and accruals in FOVA

• Conduct daily basic CASS review operations.

• Perform assessment on whether funds/credit relate to designated investment business

• Process GBP, USD, CNY

• Funds positioning
