Superb, exciting new role for a Service Advisor with at least -3 years Automotive Service Advisory experience and working knowledge of kerridge for our client a leading Motor Trade Dealer in Stevenage working as part of an established friendly team with plans to expand the operation early new year offering lots of scope and development with a forward thinking company.

MOTOR TRADE DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

We are looking for an outstanding individual with organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail with a can do attitude. Our client needs a pro-active team-player who love engaging with customers and who want to deliver a world-class customer service, an individual who can really contribute to the company's success.

Automotive Service Advisor experience required

• 2- 3 years Automotive Service experience
• Working knowledge of Kerridge or a similar dealer management system
• You will need to be a confident relationship builder dealing with customers at all levels, able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues whilst delivering a first-class service but also achieving the company objectives and targets.
• Self-motivated and professional.
• You must also hold a full UK driving license.

Service Advisor main duties

• Book in customer vehicles for servicing, manage and follow up all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaise regularly with the customer and Workshop Controller (and Technicians as required) to meet pre-arranged time frames.
• You will take ownership of customer queries and resolve all issues through to your customer's satisfaction
• Gaining authority for any additional work that may need carrying out
• Ensure the customer understands the service charges, what work will be carried out and involve technical advisors to answer queries where necessary.
• Arrange/collect payment from customers over the telephone or in person.
• Introduce additional sales and profitability opportunities (service plans and other accessories). A bonus structure is in place to reward high achiever.
