* Monitoring the operating expense budget and produce the variance analysis report to Senior Management * To participate in the annual budget drafting for Subsidiary * Prepare the economic capital reports for Branch to Parent Bank * Prepare the periodic financial forecast for the Subsidiary * To prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to Parent Bank * To prepare reports to Parent Bank's auditors; * To assist in preparation of periodic management accounts and information pack; * To check expenses and receipts to ensure they are accurately recorded and allocated on departmental level and the supporting documents are adequate. * To prepare internal journals, set up amortization, maintain internal accounts register and supervise the payment of operating expenses; * To make adjustments to general ledger and AXIOM system, ensuring the Trial Balance is up to date at each month end; * To escalate any discrepancies or issues arise with invoices and payments to the Senior Officer in order that a timely resolution can be identified. * To prepare bank nostro reconciliation on internal expenses account; * To complete client audit confirmation letters; * Departmental filing and archiving; * To fulfill other duties allocated by Head and/or Deputy Head of Financial Control.
