Fixed term 12 month contract: maternity cover opportunity

Our client is currently looking for a senior HR professional with MCIPD and FCIPD qualification to join the People Business Partner team for a fixed term 12 month contract. The role will be working for one of the largest local authorities working with Directors across the business providing the HR support, advice and guidance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience as a senior HR professional

• Degree level or equivalent by experience

• Professional qualification required: MCIPD/FCIPD

• Understanding of broad legal context and employee relations

• Experience in employment, recruitment, and onboarding

• Case law knowledge

• Able to guide and coach management and departments

• Manage complex employee relations issues

• Build, manage, and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders

• Lead on strategic level and complex projects and activities across People and Transformation (P&T), taking a portfolio lead for an area of specialism
