Our client is looking for a Senior Care Assistant Days for their established business based in Folkestone. We are looking for a passionate individual, who is reliable, friendly and professional and who has an interest in working within the care sector. You will work with all types of service users receiving direct care. Your duties and responsibilities will vary, depending on the needs of the service user.

Duties will include

• Delivering the highest possible levels of care by supporting/assisting service users when required with all aspects of day-to-day and personal care.

• Enriching their lives, respecting their dignity and promoting independence within the home.

• Assisting in the framework of social activities by interacting with the services users and helping them continue with any activities and hobbies they may have.

• Senior Care Assistant's also ensure that all care plans are kept up to date using their electronic care planning system and therefore you will need to be comfortable using technology and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Responsible for the recording and administration of medication within the home

Full training is provided.

Previous experience is preferable however not essential, the company will provide full training and shadowing.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.

Uniform tunics are provided for this role, free meals provided on a long day shift and permits are given for parking.

Their shift patterns are - 7.30am - 1.30pm Early Shift , 1.30pm - 7.30pm Late Shift, 7.30am - 7.30pm Long Day Shift

Senior Day Care Assistant - £10.10 per hour (Overtime £10.50 per hour) and £11.50 in you are the Senior in Charge of the shift

Must have NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 3
