HR GO Education are working with a lovely Primary school in Wigan. They need a SEND Teaching Assistant to work one to one with a student in Year 1.

SEND Teaching Assistant - £75 - £85 per day

Role responsibilities

• Supporting a Year 1 student with their studies
• Keep student on task with her work
• Able to motivate students to ensure they stay on task
• Provide an empathetic ear and nurturing nature to students with emotional and behavioural difficulties

Ideal candidate

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Previously worked with SEND children with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis
• The school require someone preferably that can work with SEMH
• The role will be quite active as the timetable will be varied.
• DBS on the update service or be willing to have one processed at your own cost
• Able to start as soon as possible
• Able to work Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
