Own transport required due to location Special Purpose Machinery Manufacturer requires a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Assembler / Fitter to assist in the workshop in building of conveyor systems and their associated sub assemblies. Duties will include: * Accurate measuring and cutting of materials to correct sizes, tapping, drilling and assisting in the assembling of components. This is mainly working on stainless steel. * Candidate must be able to read engineering drawings and have worked in a similar mechanical assembly environment. * Any knowledge of fitting motors, drive shafts, different gears, bearings, copper pipe work, drive shafts etc. would be beneficial. Starting Rate: £9.00 p/hr to £10.00 p/hr, plus overtime rate paid @ time and a half. (Overtime available) Working hours are 39 hours per week. * Monday 7.30 am - 4.00 pm * Tuesday 7.30 am - 4.30 pm * Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 5.00 pm * Friday 7.30 am - 12.00 noon Location: St. Neots - Sandy - Huntingdon area.
