INTERESTED IN JOINING OUR GLOBAL FREIGHT CLIENT based in modern offices near Heathrow Airport? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a small but growing team in the UK. This is a full time permanent position. Monday to Friday. THE ROLE * * Arranging collections right through to the billing process. * Negotiating rates with suppliers. * Preparing quotations. * Dealing with all types of containers including: refrigerated, standard and open top. * Dealing with customs clearance, entries and NES. * Raising invoices and billing. * Dealing with all the administration in relation to exports. * Communicating with the Head Office in Dubai and offices in India. THE PERSON MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN EXPORTING SEA FREIGHT * Experience in dealing with customs. * You will be fully accustomed with NES. * Will be happy to work alone and also as part of a small team. * You will be a good communicator and be able to deal with shipping lines, haulage companies, warehouse and distribution centres both by phone and email. * You will have full knowledge of different types of containers. * You must have the flexibility to travel abroad for initial training if required. * You will be a good negotiator. * Be able to use your own initiative. * You will be ambitious and interested in contributing towards the company's growth. * Be flexible with your working hours when required. * Experience in import is a bonus but not a requirement. You will be reporting to the UK Regional Manager.
