HRGO Education are working with a fantastic primary school situated in Epping that is looking to appoint a school business manager

Working hours 08:00 - 16:00hrs

We are looking for a candidate who will be part of our growing school community to support our teachers to provide the best opportunities for learning through effective financial management. The applicant must have experience in financial management; be somebody who is professional, confidential and an effective communicator to lead our office and site team. Knowledge of SIMS FMS/Education Payroll Systems and Microsoft Suite are desirable, but training will be given where required. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to work under pressure and preferred qualifications would be in Accountancy/Bookkeeping, H&S, ICT, CSBM or DSBM.

Main areas of responsibility include:

• Finance management, including budget preparation /monitoring and governor reporting
• Management of personnel
• Premises management, including health and safety
• Operating, maintaining and developing the administrative procedures
• Line management of Premises, Catering and Administration staff
• Attend governor meetings
