Although the role will be based in Canterbury but there will be extensive travel across the UK, Ireland as well as meetings in Europe. The person currently in the position is retiring so the plan is to have a long period of handover, what better way to start than to have that support and knowledge shared with you from day one.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (1 hour for lunch)
Parking : On site
Salary: Negotiable (Dependent on experience)
Duties include:
Visiting clients to build strong working relationships
Project manage orders and make sure that they are delivered to agreed timescales
Take detailed briefs from clients regarding their requirements
Provide accurate quotations based on specifications given
Get costings for components from suppliers
Network in the industry to build contacts, both prospect clients and suppliers
Attend trade shows and exhibitions
Be the face of the company and become a product specialist.
The person:
Professional sales experience B2B
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Previous experience selling a complex technical product is essential
Flexible and happy to travel, this will include periods of time away from home
A team player - Able to thrive in a team environment but also alone.
