Sales Administrator

My client, a well known and successful company is looking for a full time sales admin person

Your will have extensive customer service background, either over the phone or face to face

There will also be an element of calling customers - outbound

This role will be setting appointments but it will also be generating quotes and keeping the CRM system up to date so it is much more than just and appointment setter, the calls will mainly be inbound calls.

The role is effectively the administrator for the corporate account manager, allowing that role to spend time visiting customers rather than being desk bound.

Great telephone manner, customer service skills and accurate data entry is key

Office based

8m to 5 pm- hour for lunch

23 days holiday increases to 25 after three years

Salary circa 25-30k

  • As a sales administrator you will be on the front line with customers; making customer appointments and producing customer quotes.

  • You will be working directly for the Corporate account manager making sure that our largest and most important customers have everything they need.

  • Work alongside corporate account manager and other account managers to coordinate onsite customer appointments.

  • Handle inbound customer orders, answering any questions and queries, over the phone and/or online

  • Producing quotes for customer on behalf of the corporate account manager.

  • Work with Marketing Manager to drive customer awareness of full product list and newly launched products

  • Provide support and comprehensive product information to customers

  • Build effective relationships with customers to identify new sales opportunities

  • Assist customers in making purchasing decisions

  • Ensure stock holding is accurate for customers

  • Look for cross-selling opportunities to increase individual purchase value and overall sales

  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience

  • Update and maintain the order system to track orders and customer queries effectively.

These are the core responsibilities of the role; however you will be required to be flexible to support other members of the office team.

  • An ability to communicate with customers easily and effectively, with strong negotiation skills

  • A 'customer first' attitude and approach to working

  • Computer literacy, including management of CRM systems

  • Organisational and administration skills
