We're looking for warehouse sorters to work for Parcelforce, one of the UK's leading courier services. You'll be part of their busy team, working full-time, based in Chorley, Lancashire. About the job: As a warehouse sorter at Parcelforce, your main duties will include loading and unloading vehicles, scanning and labelling parcels quickly and efficiently and making sure every package leaves the processing centre on time and in a perfect condition. You will also be required to lift and carry heavy parcels weighing up to 30kg each. What skills and experience should you have? With at least one year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment you'll have: * Ability to lift and stand for long periods of time * Flexibility, able to adapt to changing situations * Good interpersonal, numerical and writing skills * Excellent communication skills * Good attention to detail * A 'can do' approach and be confident working to tight deadlines Salary range: £8.21 - £11.21 per hour (overtime is available) Hours: Various shift patterns will be on offer and these include days, nights and weekend shifts.
