Resourcing Specialist - FTC

Location: Cannock,

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum plus company car/car allowance and pension

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission is to 'Resource the World'. We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Specialist to join our enthusiastic and fast-paced recruitment team in Cannock on a fixed-term basis.

This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career within the recruitment/talent acquisition sector. You will be responsible for driving the HGV Driver attraction strategy and have a key focus on communicating short-term and long-term plans to key stakeholders. What will you be doing?

  • Owning the end to end resourcing process from line manager briefings to employee onboarding.
  • Working closely with the Resourcing Business Partner to understand the requirements from workforce plans for HGV Drivers.
  • Building and delivering a resourcing strategy in response to projected demand of HGV Drivers, including careers fairs, direct sourcing methods and social media.
  • Driving a positive candidate experience.
  • Delivering timely and creative attraction campaigns which consider current labour market trends and address business needs.
  • Motivating and leading your direct report, ensuring objectives and KPIs are in place.
  • Closely aligning to key stakeholders within your business area to ensure recruitment solutions are fit for purpose and support our company and HR objectives.
  • Project managing key resourcing activities and areas of difficulty with a solution oriented attitude.
  • Proactively using different methods to meet recruitment needs and build a pipeline of future talent.
  • Work with the Early Careers team to bring in new talent to address skills gaps.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous recruitment experience within an in-house recruitment team/agency.
  • Experience in direct sourcing using social channels.
  • Experience of building talent pipelines.
  • Previous experience in stakeholder management.
  • A creative and solution oriented attitude.
  • Ability to influence and communicate at a senior level.
  • Experience of project management and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of digital recruitment platforms and campaign planning.
