HRGO are recruiting on behalf of our client for a full time Recruitment Administrator to join our client's team in Hertford, Hertfordshire. To be consider you need a minimum of two years' experience as a Recruitment Administrator or equivalent. You must be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software or similar packages, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel coupled with a good understanding of employment legislation relating to recruitment. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and within fixed time constraints. You will need to be very confident and professional on the phone with excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent time management skills.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide effective and efficient administrative support and advice for recruitment & selection across the companies. Working with other colleagues in the HR Department as necessary to achieve these aims. As the Recruitment Administrator, you will support the HR department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from new employees and external partners. You should also be able to assist the HR department support employees while helping ensure they adopt best practice.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the entire recruitment process - Full management of the recruitment cycle from taking the job specification, to the candidates starting employment with the company.
  • Maintaining records of all CVs received, keeping the status of applications up to date; reasons for rejection, source of application and working with hiring managers during the recruitment process from start to finish.
  • Qualifying and screening.
  • Contacting candidates about vacancies.
  • Filtering and screening, accordingly, gauging interest and gaining candidates approval to be considered for the role. The role also includes regularly updating candidates.
  • Upload/Advertise job vacancies and advertise roles through third parties' websites such as indeed, Monster, CV library , Total Jobs, Reed. Advertising on the Company website, additionally through a mail shot to staff via citations.
  • Review candidate applications, shortlist, administer and carry out first stage telephone / zoom interviews
  • Liaise with managers and applicants at the relevant stages of the recruitment process.
  • Schedule final stage interview with managers.
  • Sending out offer letters.
  • Liaise with HR to carry out right to work checks, enhanced DBS.
  • Cary out reference checks and documenting how this was completed i.e., by phone , by email etc.
  • Agree with managers a date of commencement of employment for the successful candidate following satisfactory recruitment checks.
  • Liaise with HR if any risk assessment maybe required due to health , DBS disclosures etc.
  • Liaise with HR to prepare and issue employment contracts. Including for permanent, fixed term and annualised hours employees ensure any terms agreed are clearly documented.
  • Setting up induction training for new starters via our skills for care portal ensuring all core training is allocated and where possible completed prior to actively working at a service.
  • Monitor the recruitment inbox
  • Inform the HR Administrator of any new starters.

  • Undertake other activities identified from time to time commensurate with the level of the post
  • Engage in continuous personal and professional development in line with the demands of the role, including undertaking relevant training and development activities to develop themselves and support the development of others.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality of information relating to the Company and its staff and maintain compliance with the UK GDPR
