Belfast Airport - Ramp Operative 30 hours contract - £8.45 per hour. Ongoing contract 24 hour shift pattern including nights Must have a full driving license Duties: * Load and unload aircraft luggage weighing up to 32 Kilos * Be able to work in confined spaces and from heights * Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times Monitor Customer safety during boarding/offloading of aircraft and assist Customers where necessary * Marshall aircraft on the ramp (includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft) * Transfer of baggage * Observe safe ground handling procedures and maintenance of ground handling equipment, including the performance of equipment checks * Comply with all safety procedures and Station Policies * Assist in ramp set-up and storage of equipment and baggage * Communicate with Operations, Flight Crew personnel and other ground personnel. * Candidates Must: * Provide a full 5 year checkable history on registration * Provide a basic Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Check (Cost of which to be met by candidate) * Have no criminal record, or any unspent convictions * Be willing to work all assigned shifts covering a 24 hour operation, including weekends and bank holidays * Be at least 18 years old * Be eligible to work in the UK * Hold a full UK/EU drivers licence * Have current and valid photo ID * Have proof of NI Number * Will be required to pass a colour blindness test * Minimum of 30 hours per week
